Guess I should pay attention to my subject post. . . I meant to say First play this year. . . not first play of the year. . . too early to pick a POY!
Well, you know the golden rule about never compounding bets??? I'm about to break it for one of the few times on this occasion:
Xavier laying 5.5 second half for a slightly larger bet than the original.
Reasons are obvious in my mind. . . Stanford can't possibly play any better IMO. . . they are looking great and I see them giving Arizona fits when they play on this floor down the road in the Pac 10, but I can't see them playing lights out for the entire second half. Xavier will make this game exciting. . . the key will be rebounding for Xavier the 2nd half as they need to do a much better job of it. I think they will.

Also an opinion on the under 75 2nd half again I can't see Stanford continuing to shoot this well as Xavier is playing decent defense. . . Cardinal are simply making the shots.

Sure am. . . great school! You'll hear my biased comments throughout the season I'm sure!
Do I think Arizona is #1 right now? Nope. . . not with their freshman who need to gain experience and poise especially with their ball handling. . . but they are set up nicely to improve and take down anybody heading into March.
I'm going to be VERY interested in the line Vegas sends out on Saturday for Arizona/Western Kentucky. . . particularly the total. . .

Not sure Raz, but I'll take the small win tonight overall. . . Stanford definitely played the better game and deserved the game. . . Xavier made too many stupid mistakes at the end and could have cost the 2nd half cover.
