Not saying I know anything about US sports compared to you guys but love trying to predict thhwinners. (If you need to put a soccer bet on though, you know where to come...

Anyway I'm really posting just to record my selections. Most choices are from the superb info you guys dish out so don't expect anything radical.

Welcome aboard and thanks for the kind words. I have watched the BBC telecasts of the attack and it is obvious that your great country feels the same remorse and anguish that do we.

Also thought that it was a class act for the Star Spangled Banner to be played at Buckingham Palace during the changing of the guard as well as the English constituents singing the words to our National Anthem on another occasion.
Great respect and admiration for Great Britain!!

Yes I am a born and bred Rover (season ticket holder for the last 20 years) It will be nice to see the Gooners back at Ewood. Just treat us a bit gentler than the last few. I remember Anelka ripping us apart inside 10 minutes a couple of years ago. Frightening.

As far as the Star Spangled Banner goes, I totally love that song. I wish we had an anthem half as good, instead of the drab "God save the Queen". My son is really proud that he has learned both the words and the playing of the tune in the last few days. We were at an Orlando Rays game last month but only knew the last line so couldn't really join in!...
