Boxing + politics = fixed fights :nono:

No way Maywether won that fight by such a large margin. The punchstat proved Castillo landed more punches and definitely harder punches.

Ultimately, it was in HBO's best interest to have Floyd win.

Too bad -- especially for the bettors.

That fight was absolutely fixed. How ridiculous! And then to insult me by talking of a pay-per-view rematch. I think I'm going to puke.

Agreed. Mayweather didn't even win the fight, much less by 5 or 6 points. Does make you wonder if it really is worth it to put cash down on some of these fights.

Isn't that why Cosell quit?

Isn't that why Cosell quit?

All due respect guy's, but boxing has been suspect for many many years. After all, isn't that why Cosell walked away from it?
How long ago was that?
The only way I would risk (risk?) my biscuits on this sport, (sport?) is if I knew the fix was on, and who was set to win.

I did not mean to imply that I wagered on this and lost money. However, I do (did?) enjoy Boxing and just wanted to smack myself when I heard that decision. I said it once, and I'll say it again...Ridiculous.
