I am always the one going against people saying that the fix is on, but the Pepsi 400 was a little obvious. Did Jr. even have a restrictor plate on his car? Don't get me wrong, this leads to a great story, but I think this was a tainted victory.

Anyone else feel this way?

BTW, I do not want to offend anyone here that are Earnhardt fans.

I don't think fix is the word for it, but it sure seemed like those guys just did not push as hard towards the end. What was it, 6 spots in 6 laps? Jeez, and it just so happens it is his 1st race back on the track where his father got killed. As the Washington Post said this morning 'You Can't Write a Better Script', and in the article "I can't think of a better script to play than to come back to the track that took his father away from him," said Rusty Wallace, who finished seventh. "To have him be able to honor him with the victory is pretty cool." Hmmm... interesting. Just seems awfully convenient to me, and I am not trying to take anything away from him at all. Just seemed awfully suspicious.
