Did anyone actually think this unibrowed clown was gonna lead them down the field to the superbowl. Give me a break, been saying it since I saw him as a starter in week 1 .. this team wins despite him. His main objective is not to lose the game, and guess what, he just did it.

I disagree. He's good. He'll get better. He is a good kid too.

Kyle Boller was a good kid. Flacco is no where near an elite qb. He takes way too long to get rid of the ball. Yes he has a strong arm, but I am not impressed.

The guy is a rookie QB??? Have you ever seen a rookie come into the NFL and dominate? Flacco has a great arm and he'll be a stud after some more seasoning. I can guarantee 20 other NFL teams would love to have this guy behind center.

My guess is you backed Baltimore plus the points and now you're super pissed for Flacco possibly costing you a winning wager.

Hell no i didnt back baltimore. Any qb can win with this defense and this run game. Like I said Flacco was just put in charge not to lose the game.

You're way off base abc,

Flacco has been very impressive this year. I think a good comparison is to him and the Atlanta QB who have been spectacular rookie QB's. He'll be very good in years to come.

Only time will tell.

18.2 qb rating today sure didn't help his team.

Hey Two-Lips

Hey Two-Lips

I bet the Steelers against my heart. I suspected they wouldn't have enought left in the tank and the Ravens still made it a great game.

You don't know **** if you say anything but good stuff about Flacco. He will be a great QB in this league and he pleasantly surprised everyone in B'more with his growth this year.

Keep your "Tulips" shut.

Under a mask.
Flacco is not the long term solution at QB for Baltimore.Hes gonna play next year no doubt.
Just he is limited cause he cant run,and his recievers sux.

If they do more to build around him maybe.
But thats highly unlikely.

how can you even mention the words "elite qb" when referring to a rookie?.....

do you have any idea how difficult this game is for a rookie qb?....go back and check aikman and some other great qb`s in their rookie year.....

elite qb?....you aren`t serious...

Man your act is getting old.

He is a rookie QB who lead his team to the AFC championship.

What more could you ask from him?

If not for the bonehead penalty on Stone he had the team in a position to win.

How can you mention Matt Ryan and Flacco in the same breathe? I love when the run game rushes for 200 yards and ed reed returns 2 td's yet Flacco gets credit for the win. Like I said back in week 7 it was telling that some of the teams captains said they wanted Troy Smith at QB. I am done talking about this guy, not sure what he has shown anyone, except that he can throw it about 70 yards. Go look at the stats against real teams.

Also add to the fact, that he was the #3 QB when preseason started and he played college @ delaware which is a FCS school. So the speed difference is even greater.

He led this team? :mj07: They won despite him. They ask him to make 2 or 3 plays a game. The coaches obviously have very little confidence in him.
In another portion of his recent interview with 2 Live Stews, Ravens linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs was candid about the team?s rookie quarterback, Joe Flacco.

Suggs thinks Troy Smith should be the team?s starting quarterback, not Flacco.

At a minimum, Suggs wants to see packages for both quarterbacks.

?I think he should get some playing time, but I think Troy should be the starter,? Suggs said.

?[Flacco] started out hot, [but] I mean we played two teams [Cincinnati and Cleveland] at the bottom of the league in defense, so everybody was going all crazy about him.?

After those first two games, coach John Harbaugh named Flacco (whom Suggs calls ?Shane Falco?) the starter for the rest of the season.

Don't believe me, believe one of the team captains.

My bad.

I thought it was the Ravens in the AFC championship, I did not realize the ravens did not make it.

You are a fool and do not know football if you think Flacco was not a huge difference this season.

And have we mentioned he is a rookie.

Rusty...really?

Rusty...really?

He's not the long-term solution? As a rookie, he helps them get to the AFC C'ship? Are you kidding?
If the Ravens upgrade at a few key positions (WR/TE...need a speed TB) they are legitimate contenders to get at this far next year.
I'll guarantee you the Ravens are pretty damned pleased with Flacco this year, and he will be even better next year. I can't believe how people are dissing him as a rook in the AFC championship game.
Hey Cutler, hey Ryan, hey Rivers...
who would you like to compare him to to? He far far exceeded expectations this year. See you next fall.:sadwave:

who mentioned ryan and flacco in the same breath?.....alot more is EXPECTED OF RYAN...

flacco faced tennessee a and pittsburgh`s d`s on the road...you can hardly compare arizona`s defense with those two...

flacco`s not elite...neither is ryan....

give ryan a another year or two before you induct him into the hall,whydontcha...
