I have seen you post a couple of times about golf in Myrtle Beach. Me and three buds are heading there over the Labor Day weekend and have a sweet package deal at Pauleys Plantation. I know that it will be a good course since it is a Nicklaus signature but I was wondering if you have played there or heard any feedback about the place. You said elsewhere that you would probably be there late Aug to early Sept and that is when we will be there from 8/30-9/3. Maybe hookup and play a nassau for a few $$$???  ;) Thanks for any feedback

Fletcher,

Thanks for the response! Before you spend much time listing a lot courses in Myrtle Beach, let me explain that we have a package to play at Pawleys Plantation all four days. It is a sweet deal:

4 rounds of golf including cart fees
4 buffet breakfasts
free range balls
catfish fry dinner

Stay on the golf course in 1500 sq ft cottages that have all the amenities. The whole package is $371 including tax!!!

This is supposed to be like a four star place and I know that the Pauley Plantation is a Jack Nicklaus signature course that held one of the world tour championships played on.

Just was wondering if you had any info on this resort?

Can't wait to go and if you are there at same time, maybe have a friendly little nassau for a few $$:nono:. This is the first big weekend for college football

:spotting:

Thanks again for any input.

dunclock,
Where did you find that deal? That sounds awesome! I go there with a bunch of buds golfing and do similar packages but that sounds like a hell of a deal. Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

you will love this place, they really take good care of the people that stay there.

prices are like 100 or 130 to play course from march to april. you will have a great time and be playing a great course. you need to go to calabash one night for seafood its the best . go to the town its about 35 mins away north, they have one in myrtle beach but its better in the little town where the real on started. get the popcorn shrimp its huge with a the best hushpuppies in the world and a tall glass of sweet tea only like you can get in the south.

Thanks for the reply Fletcher. Did not know if you had the chance to play there before. Will definitely be piggin out on the seafood while down there and probably way too many :drinky:

If you happen to be there at at that time, we are playing each morning from around 8:30-9:00 teetimes. I carry around a 1 or 2 hdcp here in Nashville.

Hailmary, I found on the internet under the course name.com

Did not want to post exact site link
Sounds like a great place to be and I think we have a great package deal for some great golf. Let me know if you need any other help.
