The obvious choice for the Gator position would have been Stoops, but the first coach AD Foley really, really wanted would have been Shanahan. Most UF fans knew the Gators would lose 2-3 games this year. But to LSU at home... nah.

I have to admit that I'm as down on Auburn as I have ever been. Yea, I'm disappointed about a loss, but that was down right ugly in our own backyard. Neither QB is good and our front 7 on the defensive side was absolutely horrible (and they were going to be a strenght at the beginning of the season). Special teams play has also been awful. I don't thin we win a game in October and I think Florida has little trouble with us. Arkansas is a good team, but I still think head to head Florida is better. Florida will lose another game or two this year, but I don't thibk it will be against the Tigers. We have yet to beat a respectable team this year. My heart will be on Auburn Saturday, but if I can get Florida around a touchdown or so, my wallet will be on the Gators.

I hate to say it guys, but I am with ya'll on the Tigers. Being a student and lifelong fan of Auburn, Saturday was a very disheartening loss. I think I was in some fantasy dream thinking Auburn was really good this year. Arkansas showed me how bad we really are.

I believe we have not beaten one single team who has beaten a division I opponent. Think about it, they (East Carolina, Vandy, Miss St, Syracuse) are all terrible teams. Auburn just looks rough, and I'm not sure if we will win any game other than homecoming.

What do ya'll think on Tubberville? I think everyone is getting a little antsy down here on the plains. If we fold for a second consecutive year after a good start, he could be on the chopping block real soon. I hate to see it like this guys, but Auburn is real trouble.

Amen, Auburn Lacks leadership on the field, and on the sidelines. As for FLorida, I feel they will bounce back nicely this week with a confused Auburn team. I will keep an eye on the line, has already went down from 8 1/2 to 8 points. I view this as a good betting opportunity as alot of people will fade the gators this week, being upset with the loss last weekend. Florida is much more popular with the betting public than is Auburn for obvious reasons. with that being said,,,,,, I will wait to see if line drops to a touch down or even less.. if so..... then I will be all over this game. Neither Florida or AUburn is a top 15 team this year, both have weak defenses. Auburn's defense was rolled by a sorry and I mean sorry Cuse team that lost outright to Temple. Zook will get three years and be gone. Zook is another Frank Solich brought in to take over a team that was slipping and both will be eventually canned.

I guess I will be playing on the Tigers this weekend regardless......here's why! If you take two miserable old dogs and rub their noses together they will eventyally kill each other! I think that is what is gonna happen to these miserable assed teams this weekend! I really don't think we can beat them and I also don't beleive that they can beat us. Which is the lesser of the two evils? The fact that it will be a close game between two pitiful excuses for NCAA football teams! Both teams have the same problems that are causing them problems! QB's and Coaching! Daniel Cobb......were do I start? This guy is a joke! He has a good game and Tubby falls in love with him, when he left the Syracuse game I thought we may have a chance this season by getting his butt gone and getting Campbell in for good. Not the case, He was right back in the next weekend throwing competions to the wrong team. Jason Campbell may not have the experience the Cobb has but he is an athlete, and that is more I can say about Daniel. I hope he goes to the pro's one day and carries Tommy with him so he'll see some playing time over a better QB! Rex Grossman.....same thing! He should have been holding a clip board and wearing a visor! He may have been the man last year but he also had a motivator on the sidelines to keep him on target! If he was inefficient as a passer he got to take a little break on the sidelines! Now he just gets to go right on firing the ball to the defensive backs! In my opinion the two coaches and QB's need a heavy dose of ass chewing and a little time to think about what they have done to two once elite football programs! Tubby and Zook have made jokes of both teams and have allowed sub par players to infect the rest of the teams players hopes with doubt and grief about the rest of the season!

Good Job Tommy, Good Job Ron.........you are our heroes! :nono:
