the marlins host the mets tonite after a 5 star weekend. the fish spent the weekend with their families bunkered down inside pro player stadium. They sat in hot tubs, watched tv on their big screens, had cattered food all weekend as the rest of florida sat home in our boarded up houses. The marlins organization took care of their own this weekend and kept their players fresh. The only player who wasnt there was mike mordecai. they should be ready to roll this week. They are still upset about the way the cubs series is going to play out and they are on a mission. tonite burnett takes the mound and looks to get his first career win against the mets.
not sure how much all this matters but figured it was good info to share. i didnt know this until this morning and i am assumming most people didnt know either. they should be fresh and ready to go.
