MIAMI-FL ?13 (Saturday) - It is my contention that when the Hurricanes come to play, they are at least 14 points better than any other team in the country on a neutral field. Since they are at home this game and figure to be fully motivated against what I feel is an overrated Florida State team, I have absolutely no problem giving the 13 points in this spot. The Canes are now 5-0 with a monstrous AMOV of +32.0 points per game! Also, this dominance has not just come at the expense of cup cakes either. They went into The Swamp and blasted Florida 41-16, and they also own a convincing 38-6 home win over a very good Boston College team that gave Virginia Tech all they can handle the other night. Miami easily handled the Seminoles at Tallahassee last season 49-27, and I expect them to have just as easy a time again this year. Florida State is 5-1 S/U but just 2-4 ATS on the year. Their loss came to a rather mediocre Louisville team, and they were extremely lucky to escape with the cover last week vs. a pesky Clemson squad. The Noles have been unable to defend the pass this season, allowing 260 passing yards per game on a high 8.3 yards per attempt, so look for Dorsey to exploit this area as Miami rolls up the score.
