I like Air Force -6.5 vs Yale.AF has former Princeton asst. coach Scott at the helm.He has had 1 yr to put his offense together,and yes its Pete Carrill's passing,cutting,backdooring and passing.With 4 starters back Scott's team will be the tigers of the M-West.It will drive the MWest teams crazy.Of course Yale has seen this offense over the yrs but hardly ever wins against it.
AF gds Yazzie and Jenkins are good.Yazzie can shoot.But 6'6 Gerlach is the player who will cause Yale the problems.Tough inside with those back doors and he slashes to the hoop.Bellairs at 6'7 is a tough rebounder.
Scott played all these guys lyr as freshman and lost 21 games.Now they know the system.
Yale has some strong gds in Archibony and garfield.I'm not sure if leanza is playing tonite.He hurt his shoulder in the off season.he is their top player who can shoot the 3.Yales problem is the frontline.They have Vitilli and Mchugh who both avg. 3 or 4 pts a game lyr.They play a 3 gd offense with 2 fowards.No post player.But the way AF runs motion that really doesn't make a difference.
I think AF has better personnel,are bigger inside,and will surprise some teams this yr in the Mt.West.Scott knows Yale and their schemes.Of course you could also say the same thing about Jones knowing the Flyboys offense and D.
I'll give the 6.5 pts as AF wins this by 10.

Memphis is loaded with Wagner,Wise and co.Calipari will try to win big.But to early for me on this team.
USC-Wyoming.Kinda lean towards USC.Cowboys are loaded with everyone coming back but USC is a small step better in caliber of play.
Mizzou is 13-1 at home,but terrible ats wise.[4-6 as H.fav]In fact 14-16 ats HF in past 3yrs.If you look at some of the smaller teams they have beaten over the past yrs its not blowouts.Coastal 14,NC Ashville 6,Wintrop6,Austin P.10,Tex-Pan Am 19.There are a few blowouts so be careful.Tenn.-Martin getting +23 is a lot of pts.
Fresno st-Montana-Fresno's problem is there is only 1 ball.No one passes to each other.Bunch of selfish solo artists.But talented ones.Maybe this yr Tark can get them to pass to each other.but Tito the one passer they had got some extra dough from an agent and is gone.But Jerry just reloads.
Maybe I'll put a few of these teams in a small parlay.

Yes,I did get lucky with Det-mercy covering.At the end it could of gone either way.Last nite the ball bounced boxes way.Hopefully tonite I can get another good bounce.GL
