Flyers Fire Barber

First off-I in no way have any liking of Philly-actually hate them but.....
How in the hell can Billy be fired and Bobby Clarke go unscathed??
I realize that all the players came out after the Ottawa series and roasted Barber-but EVERYONE knows who pulls the punches in Philly. Barber had a rough year-but give the guy a break-he lost his wife this year-they finished 2nd in the East and he was Coach of the Year last year.
Clarke is an absolute jerk-look what he did to Roger Nielson--nice job handling Lindros-this --and hey--Bobby mix in a goaltender sometime soon!!

I am not a big FLYERS fan either but I don't think the FLYERS problems lie on their goaltending. Ceckmanek is a solid goaltender who played solid against the SENS in the first round hampered by an ankle injury. If the FLYERS got any offensive production whatsoever they would have been right in that series. I think the FLYERS problems are on defense. Dejardins is old and a step slower. Weinrich is old and may be on the verge of retiring. Richardson is a below average defenseman at best and Therien and Mcgillis are big steardy defensemen who are physical but slow and inconsistent. Billy Barber was just another scapegoat for one more FLYER choke job! I don't know if FLYERS ownership is scared of Bobby Clarke or if they are just deaf, dumb and blind! Why don't the FLYERS just put that ignoramous behind the bench to coach an obvious bunch of whiners and primadonnas! I would like to hear some imput from a true FLYERS fan, although at this time I don't know if there is anyone out there who would admit that they are a FLYERS FAN!
