Been doing this for years.. My Dad and I created it about 20 years ago. It kind of died out the last two years when he and his cronies started dieing off. I had been trying to round up some new blood, but wondered if anyone else does anything like this.
It's simple actually. All members buy in for a certain amount. Everyone has to wager a minimum ammount every week through the club. If you win for the week the club pays you. If you lose you pay the club. At the end of the season The club whacks up the money evenly between members. It beats the hell out of buying the local bookie a new cadillac! We usually wind up with at least 3 or 4 hundy per man at the end of the yea. The most I remember was about 1k!!
Best part about ours was that while we had a $100 minimum per week you could bet $5 on a game if you want. I had contacted a few of my old friends on here to see if I could fill up a few slots, so this is in noway trying to drum up anyone else, just wondering if anyone else did anything similar.
