Since I'm a stay at home work from home dad I do all that i can to make a little extra spending money so i thought I'd throw these sites out there in case anyone's interested in joining. They have locations in mainly big cities. These are all companies that do research through focus groups where they pay you to come in and discuss a certain product, website, company, you name it. I participated in one today where they paid me $100 to give my opinion on online financial products. They came to my house to do this one. Anyway between my wife and I we probably make an extra $1200.00 a year doing this. If you've got anymore to add by all means throw it out there.

Ben,
Do they pay you cash or check? Got a buddy on unemployment, would be curious if he can do this on the side, or if it would screw up his unemployment

Snoozer,

Most places are now paying by check. However, the study I did last week paid me with a $100 Visa debit card. I wouldn't worry about it screwing up his unemployment.

I have done 3 or 4 in Canada, always paid in cash. Market research is very important and businesses pay big bucks to get an opinion.

I did one for A&W....got paid 100 bucks for 1.5 hours. Easy money:SIB
