YOU GOT SCREWED !!!

Buffalo 98, Bowling Green 90 (OT)

AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) -Yassin Idbihi scored a career-high 28 points, including a pair of clutch free throws, as Buffalo rallied for a 98-90 win over Bowling Green Tuesday.

The game went into overtime after a confounding final few seconds in which Bowling Green left the court, thinking it had secured a 77-75 win.

Trailing, Buffalo (11-14, 3-9 Mid American Conference) inbounded the ball with 24 seconds left looking for the final shot. Parnell Smith forced up an off-balance attempt as the shot clock expired, and the game clock also expired.

Bowling Green (11-14, 2-10 MAC) ran into the locker room, seemingly with victory in hand.

Coach Dan Dakich later claimed a referee indicated the game was over.

But officials reviewing the replay ruled another 0.6 seconds were to be played, and Bowling Green was forced to return and assessed a technical foul. Idbihi sank both attempts, tying the game at 77.

Buffalo scored 21 in overtime.

Eric Moore had 24 points for Buffalo, Smith had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Ryne Hamblet led Bowling Green with 24 points, while Nate Miller scored 20 points with 10 rebounds and Martin Samarco had 17 points.
