I would play it cautious. I know with netteller done, some of you may be using them.
My most recent experience:
I'm not going to completely badmouth them yet, because I've been very happy with using them to fund and withdraw my poker accts the past 3 years or so with for the most part no problems until a little over a week ago.
I've used their debit card(electron card) for over 2 years and only had a small problem once which got quickly resolved, but about 10 days ago, I went to make a withdrawal and the ATM would not allow the transaction and returned the card. Upon logging into my online epassporte acct, I found that the funds were taken out of my acct. I then emailed them with NO response. I then called them and after being on hold for 35 minutes I finally was able to talk to someone live who told me they couldn't help until I filled out dispute forms that had to be faxed back to them.
I decided to go to the credit union that owned the ATM machine who told me that the ATM has balanced and that is was definitely on Epassporte's end of it. So the Credit union faxed the forms for me along with all of their info so Epassporte could contact them if needed.
Followed up to call Epassporte the next day(on hold 40 minutes) to see if they received the faxed forms in which I was told they don't know and won't know for 10-15 days because that's how long it takes to process a dispute. I was then told that they knew the problem was on their end, because they were having a lot of problems that particular day and could see that no funds were paid. Upon hearing that, I asked to talk to the person's supervisor and was told no problem but he's on the phone with another customer and will call me back as soon as he gets off the phone....YOU GOT IT...I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK.
Called the next day (on hold 45 minutes) and was promised that they will find out if the forms were received and would email me whether they have them or not the next day..Guess what....YEP, NO EMAIL WHATSOEVER...waited over 2 full days.
Once more called back again this past evening(on hold 55 minutes) and they still could not even tell me if they received the faxed forms!
Just getting the impression of a very unorganized company. I'm starting to think they are in way over their heads with maybe extra business since netteller is done?? Don't know, but I would be careful if you are using them. They clearly told me that they can see I didn't receive my money and yet are making me have to go through all this b.s. if I want to see that $$.
Sorry for the long winded description and it's not even a lot of $$ (under $300) but it just really pisses me off how they are handling(NOT HANDLING) this.
Also, As I said above, I've used them for around the last 3 years with no real problems. But it's taking upwards of an hour to even get to talk to anyone live and it's pathetic when they admit it's on their end and won't even correct the problem. Going on 10 days and they said it will be 10-15 days after they get to the complaint forms I faxed to them which they can't even tell me if they received yet. Oh and by the way, those forms they emailed to me to fax back to them ask for information that they already have, such as name, username, phone #, location of ATM, etc...all of which they already have, it's ridiculous.
FWIW, epassporte's address on the forms is listed in California which is kind of scary considering the US's situation with this stuff.
