Positive article for gambling, but it made me think about the sin tax that is currently implemented on cigarettes and alcohol (as mentioned in the article). Currently, you pay 10% juice to your bookie. Let the government take this over, and if tax revenues are down one year, that amount could go to 20% at the blink of an eye. What senator is not going to vote to raise the juice that a sinner (gambler) has to pay to bet? Or are they going to vote to increase property taxes? You make the call.
