I just looked up the forecast and it said there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms Sat. evening. Not sure what this does for the side but the Under is now appealing although the rain could cause for more turnovers. Roger, what are your thoughts on this?

Oh, and do any of you Austinites wanna join us at Antonio's to watch the game?

I ALWAYS FIND THAT PEOPLE BET TOO MUCH ON THE OVER BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER--RAIN SEEMS TO ALLOW FOR MORE TURNOVERS AND DEF BACKS CAN NOT PLAY AS TIGHT SO THE PASSING GAME OPENS UP--NOW IF IT IS A HARD DRIVING RAIN THE WHOLE GAME THAT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE--THE ONLY DIFFERENCE I SEE THAT EFECTS THE TOTAL DRAMATICALLLY IS A VERY COLD WEATHER ON A WARM WEATHER TEAM--GL

The effect of rain of passing/running has been greatly debated. Some say that it slows down faster teams, some say it favors more athletic teams. Two aspects of rain are not disputed, however... it increases the chances for turnovers and it quiets the crowd. Judging only those two things, I would have to think that the rain would favor UT. North Carolina has lost 10 turnovers in the games they've played so far and have had problems with the Center-QB transfer.

That being said, anything could happen, and weather is part of the game. It increases the likelihood of injury and sloppy play, two things none of us want to see. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

the weather effects the kicking game more than anything else. u can almost guarantee that it will put one less field goal on the board than usual
