obviously a very important game for both teams, esp. the saints, see them both playing close to the vest. well known that to beat the rams you must keep the offense off the field with long drives, and for the rams they haven't been running much but i think tonight they will run alot, esp. to control turnovers which killed them last game. also the rams defense is pretty good and has fought off some pretty potent offenses this season. the saints will take their shots downfield but they know they can't get into a shoot-out with this team. as long as turnovers are kept to a minimum (yeah right) i think i'll be alright playing the under with a lean towards the saints. good luck bitches

I agree 100%. The Rams last 4 totals have landed exactly on 41, well below tonights total. In the 1st meeting between the two teams, the Rams turned the ball over 8 times. The Rams made very little effort to establish the run with Faulk out and Hakim was their leading rusher w/20 yards. I envision a more conservative plan tonight and St. Louis defense is solid enough to keep this under the total.

Totally agree with you guys. Look at the STL/SF game. STL played a very conservative game and established the run. Warner will not air it out tonight and risk all the INTs like in the first game. UNDER BIG!!!!!!

Think ST Louis gives healthy dose of short
control pass and Faulk run....New orleans
a lot of run to keep ball out of warners
hands..like under 51 also

what i learned from this play/game:

rams don't give a crap about run/pass balance, i've heard it from martz before but, because i'm so thickheaded, just coulnd't believe that after turnovers lost them the games to t.b. and n.o they wouldn't want to run the ball more, esp. on the road. fact is, is that turnovers may have lost them those 2 games, but throwing the ball with warner at the helm got them all their wins. they really dominated this game, and as long as they don't turn the ball over they can beat anyone by 2 touchdowns easily. the trick is catching them motivated, like against s.f. and tonight. i think they were motivated for the t.b. game but turnovers killed them in that one. i know this is handicapping 101 stuff but i like to remind myself of these little things. haslett made some disappointing calls, esp. the onside kick. even if it's successful, the other side of the equation is just too damaging to risk. quick lead, at home with momentum, you don't risk losing that with an onside kick. never ever ever ever give the rams a chance at a short field, they will kick you in the teeth. anyways, just some thoughts, on to this weekends' games.
