Formula 1 - Spanish GP / Sato vs Trulli

Tomorrow, the Formula 1 circus travels
to Spain. I have spotted a matchup which
looks tasty.

Jarno Trulli and his Renault R24
have been very reliable this year finishing
7th, 5th 4th, and 5th in the first four races
of the season. For Trulli to score points in all 4 races
this year is a testimony to the overall reliability of
the Renault's engineering team, and the R24.

The British-American Racing Team has been
the 'toast of the town' in F1 circles. This team
has come out of nowhere to move to the upper
eschelon in the ever changing F1 world. Jenson Button
currently sits in 3rd with 23 points in the standings.

But Trulli is matched up with Button's teamate Takuma Sato.
Sato has a much different story. He was sacked from F1
last season mostly for inconsistant driving, and crashing
too many of Eddie Jordan's cars. After snatching Jacques
Villeneuve's seat at the end of last season,
Sato's results have been mixed for the BAR outfit.
In his first 4 races, driver error, and mechanical failure have
resulted in 16th, 5th, 15th, and 9th place finishes.

Sato has completed his best qualifying run ever,
as he sits in 3rd position on the grid. Trulli will be sitting
beside him on the 2nd row in the 4th slot. I believe
Trulli's experience and consistancy, will overcome
the passionate, yet volatile driving skills of Takuma Sato.

RECOMMENDATION: TRULLI -125 over Sato (Olympic)

enjoy.

the land of confusion
Season to date : 10 - 4

Race match-ups:

Button over Raikkonen
Side by side on the 7th row. Button has the far superior car and should leave Kimi in his dust.

Montoya over Barrichello
3 grid places and superior driving skill should keep J-P in front.

Montoya for a podium finish / top 3.
@ $1.67 it looks a good bet.
