On the lake. Setting hooks!
I'll be taking a chance on what I believe are two very live and dangerous dogs. Both have excellant puncher chances. Moyorga is plain out a rough customer. Forrest could be in for a let down off the two Mosely fights. He could be overlooking the extemely hard punching and aggressive Moyorga. At the price I think it's worth a shot.

Moyorga +655
under 9 +125

All thou Cassamoyor is very talented and slick. I believe Campbell is for real. Maybe not as good a boxer as Cass. But a harder puncher. Just believe Cass is in for a real hard fight. So I'll take a shot with Campbell.

Campbell +200
over 9.5 +145

well done

well done

Good call on the Mayorga win Smoke. That guy can take a punch and give it right back. Reminded me a liitle of the Hagler-Hearns matchup.

excellent job

excellent job

the first one was much closer than the cards would indicate....and forrest got lured into a punch-out...the one time i don`t put a few bucks on the big underdog....way to go....

now,if there is a rematch, and the odds are under -300 for forrest,i`ll be on him like a cheap suit....he made a stupid mistake and got into a punch-out with an inferior fighter, due for the most part to extreme cockiness and overconfidence...all the hard work in the mosley fights, all the acclaim and notoriety go out the window....this is why you never, ever bet a big favorite when odds are involved....he will not make the same mistake again.....what a crushing defeat....i know forrest and his people are kicking themselves for being so stupid.....i know i`m kicking myself for not putting a very small wager on mayorga...i really didn`t expect forrest to be so weak mentally...

an excellent call smoke.....congrats on a nice evening...

Glad I saw this post last night before the fight as well......:D

Well done, Smoke.

I, too, believe that Campbell won the first fight. He is an unpolished fighter, but he's fearless and he fought a great fight last night. Wasn't suprised at the decision-- this is boxing and it was a Don King promoted one at that.

Great story about the guy as well. Kurt Warner of the boxing game, huh?

All in all, hard to argue with a 8+ unit winning night.......:D

SJ,
Nice calls on the fights. I was not on the Campbell fight-but it seemed like a terrible decision.
I had never seen Mayorga fight-went totally with your call. Many thanks for a nice writeup and great pick.
