Not much need s to be said , because Anders and Time to Make $$$ have covered pretty much everything. Korea is faster, more rested, has better technique(in some writings i've read, figure that one out:rolleyes: ), huge huge huge home field advantage, there guys are already claiming victory, and now posting signs about 1966?????WTF is that lol, were any of them Koreans even born yet? Anyways why even play this match? My main man Mr. Napolitano(Cannavaro) is out. Nesta is hurting. Maldini is aging. Totti is distracted by them sexy korean woman. Inzahgi is a whining, clueless biaaatch. Di Biago is out. Vieri is more concerned about them refs , burning him again for the third time. So why dont we all just take Korea and call it a day. PLUS what does Trapattoni know?????Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......

FORZA AZZURRI

I-T-A-L-I-A....I-T-A-L-I-A....I-T-A-L-I-A....I-T-A-L-I-A!!!!!

Does anyone see this going to Golden Goal? This is a hostile atmosphere for a slightly rattled Italian side to play. Is the 'To Qualify' more advisable to the regulation play?

Anthony Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:D :D

Ahhh Mr. Baggio, we could definitely use him in the second half to control the midfield and tempo of the game. Trapattoni, has been kicking himself since day one on that decision.

Monarch for Italy to Qulify vig is -240, very steep...

I have a feeling that this game goes to OT, something inside tells me so... in that case SK +.5 would seem like a good play @ +128

I'm getting a Golden Goal feeling also. I can just see Del Piero doing something a little crazy in extra time to win the game for Italy.

Welll that was a tough one, but Italia deserved to lose that one im afraid to say, they had way too many opportunities to put the game out of reach. Korea did not do a damn thing unitl the 88 th minute. I may be a little biased but i think that red card was uncalled for. It was a good tackle even though he did clip Totti's shin. totti and Vieri did too much playing in the last 25 mins of the game. Congrats to the Koreans. My pride is hurt, not much else i can say. Congrats to all you Italian haters. Guess i have to go and put my logo away til the european cup. Oh yea one more thing. i truly truly truly hate to see anyone lose moneys on a game, but Jedi you can come here to rochester, ny and kiss my :moon: :fingerc:

Comiserations Tone :( ; always hard to see your beloved nation bow out, especially in the circumstances.

I found it a little hard too to make the ref the chief target of my venom, although u could certainly find a good case - nothing wrong the with the first pen, but the totti sending off and the offside call (from the linesman) were both crucial.
I think though it will take me a long time to get over Vieri missing that sitter off his shinpad from 5 yds just after Sth Korea equalised

Thanks Anders, agree whole heartedly with you, Tomassi looked right on, guess it could have gone either way, Vieri was just too worn out, damn bastard could not get his body over the ball, too much lunging. Thanks mate:) Gonna be rooting for Senegal the rest of the way. Totti ahhh i dont even wanna talk about it. Way too cocky, i remember when he was just growing up , what a shy young and hard working kid he was. Gl on your plays the rest of the tourney.

antonio i realise that the koreans will run all over the park all day but why do the Italians insist on sitting back on a one goal lead? This surely just creates immense amounts of pressure and theyb should have learned their lesson against croatia!!!

Sorry, i would have liked an england italy final but i guess germany will have to do

Antonio... painful!!!

Antonio... painful!!!

We both know about the pains, nah I don't want to talk about this game, so much to blame, so much "what if" . Congrats to all Koreans fans and bettors, it was a well play game for you but not for us Italians backers.
Vieri missed that easy score 5 yards out and he missed a wild shot when they had a 2 on 1 break with Totti waiting for him to pass the ball. That tieing goal was stunning , but I almost saw it coming when Totti played a bad cross in a minute 87 when he got the ball all the way in Korea' end, he should have played it wisely by holding onto the ball or take it to the corner flag and wait for help, that turn-over turned out to be an error that Korea was waiting for, and they took it for granted into scoring a tieing goal. A hard lesson to learn for all the favorites, too much expectations to play with. Best of luck to Italians fans in the future.

Andy

P.S. It's going to be another 4 "long and painful" years, the painful memories, it will stick deep in our heart like a tatoo ink sticking onto one's body... another 4 years of sorrow, regrets, upset, bitter... it's nothing news to me since I first saw Roberto Donadoni missed a PK against Agentina in the Semifinal of Italy 90... it only get worse as I witnessed Roberto Baggio's PK skyed high over the cross bar in a Final against Brazil in Pasadena, USA 94. What about Lugi Dibaggio's PK hit the cross bar and bounced away from the goal line against France in Quarter Final in France 98. Ohh it's not done when I was exciting and celebrating with the whole Italian team in the Euro 2000 Final against France, and it was only a few seconds before France get the equalizer that sent the game into overtime and Trezequet scored the golden goal to took the Cup away. I can go on and on crying along with all the Italians fans, but we have to realize and thinking about changing our tactic and formation. Why can't we play like the Dutch, the Brazilians, or the human-machine Germans. We have more than enough talents to play an all-out-attack like the Dutch, or atleast we can be well organized like the Germans since we have one of the best defense in the World...

Ahhh Forza Italia!!!
