Ron Paul can vote against the earmarks and still that will get overwhelmingly get shot down.

So he get's a piece of the pie for his district.

There certainly are a lot more abuses of earmarks than what Paul has done.

I just found it interesting.

Puts in earmarks and then votes no - if it passes, his people are happy - they get money in their state and get to say that their rep is a staunch fiscal conservative.
