Whats with the ridiculous sound effects on every fukking play. Its about the most annoying thing I've ever heard, like fukking fingernails on a chalkboard. Then if thats not enough, the animated fukking robotic football players that they feature on their promos is a joke.

If I wanted to watch cartoons I could do that elsewhere. Stick to the fukking football you fukking morons.

but to go back to spang's comment..yes, that noise before EVERY FRIGGIN DOWN is terrible. i watch the cbs game and put the fox game in the split screen so i dont have to hear it.

Similarily, I called up a buddy to see if it was actually happening, or if it was on my end somehow. The most annoying thing EVER regarding sports broadcasts. Who the hell could have come up with that idea?

i very rarely pay attention to the anouncers because i'm usually doing something during the games. however, i watched the giants/colts game intently & i got really annoyed with the love affair with the manning family.

archie was one of the best qbs i have ever seen in college & he should be proud that he has 2 kids as nfl qbs...but showing clips of their childhood & then having the mannings on the commercials was much too much for my taste.

This summer I started a similar thread about foxsports baseball telecasts. Every time a new batter stepped into the box I thought my gd phone was ringing!

Last week, or the week before on Sunday night baseball Joe morgan went over the top in the first inning about an UNBELIEVABLE play. He used the word "unbelievable" twice in describing the same play.


It was unbelievable how he fouled off that pitch!!
