All I know is that I love the over in the South Korea/Portugal game. . . both teams have lightening fast forwards and midfielders.

Yes, the pre-Cup hype led me astray...

- bet England and Ireland not to qualify
- bet Argentina to win group and Cup :thefinger
- shorted about 8 teams (including France, thankfully)

Would _really_ like to see Italy and Mexico draw and Ecuador beat Croatia... Italy is one of the only top teams remaining that I haven't shorted. Plus I have Mexico +900 to win group ;) Might put a small saver on Italy -220.

Any Value in Paraguay???

Any Value in Paraguay???

With so many favorites out, Paraguay plays Germany next. Germany looked great against Saudi Arabia (big f*cking deal) but looked average otherwise. Paraguay struggled against Spain but played well against others. I can see Paraguay as a sleeper from here on out.

Other longshot plays for me to win it all - South Korea and Japan. Home nations have looked good.

Unfortunately, Germany should beat Paraguay easily.

Paraguay didn't really look good against South Africa and Slovenia, they looked particulary poor today and should have been down 2-0 or more by HT. How they managed to go through is beyond me

I think Spain could struggle against Ireland, England beats Denmark and I have no idea about Sweden-Senegal.

Feel sorry for Argentina, their economy went to the doghouse now their team gets bounced in the 1st round. What can you do. I am starting to like Germany to get it all but i'm a novice at this sport compared to others here but like their tough style.

I totally agree with your comments BBC. Argentina spat in our face when they beat us in 1998 and vengeance has certainly come. I think it was even worse after we beat them the other day, some of their players wouldn't even swap shirts after the game. What the hell kind of sportsmen are these people? Their players walking off the pitch crying after the Sweden game will be the lasting memory I take from this World Cup (unless England win the whole thing of course). Argentina are one of the greatest footballing nations on Earth, I just hope in time they learn some dignity and sportsmanship.

Yes I won 6.9 units on the game... plus actually won 2 units on Brazil in the early game to cover my hedge. I am seriously considering betting Mexico to win the whole thing... if I can get better than 20-1 at WSEX.

Good job to you! Should have won the game but a draw still pays the $$$$.
