The main event is Rich ?Ace? Franklin vs. Chuck ?The Iceman? Liddell. Liddell was going to face off with Tito Ortiz, but a neck injury derailed those plans.
Liddell is still one of the biggest names in the sport, although he has certainly slowed down at 40-years-old. He has lost four of his last five fights, beginning in May 2007 to Quinton Jackson for his UFC Light Heavyweight championship.
His last fight was April 2009, a TKO loss to Mauricio Rua.
Franklin was once the UFC middleweight champion, but lost twice to Anderson Silva. He?s had mixed success after moving back up to light heavyweight, although the 35-year-old can both box and wrestle.
This could be a one-punch knockout by either guy and that means Liddell has some value at +110 odds.
The co-main event is Patrick Barry (-150) against Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic in a heavyweight bout. Barry made his MMA debut in May 2008 and is 5-1 since.
Cro Cop is best known from the Japan Pride Fighting Championship. That was when he was an extremely feared opponent. He?s looked like a shell of his former self at times during his last few UFC Fights.
Most experts are clearly siding with Barry in this one. He could provide good value at the -150 odds.
