This move by our Gov will lower interest on home rates. Should help some border line buyers a way in. I would think a good buy starting very soon is home buliders. There so dam cheep and are not gong to fly up in value. But long term 1 to 2 years from now your gains could reach 60/70%. At thats real money.

I agree that home builders are in a good position to move up from here. This depends on whether or not you are wiiling to tie up your money with little movement for an unknown amount of time while inventories are sold.

I think the way to play this would be with in the money LEAPS.

djv - do you have specific builders that you like?

Toll, but it's already up some. What im going to do is watch tomorrow and see what everyone has to say about this Gov move. And while I got time look for a good etf. One that's been strong enough to been paying div. Because your right to make money here your money will be tied up a while. Might as well try and get something while waiting. KB I want to look at to.

I think Toll being the first to move is a good sign.

I think their move will be the biggest as the rising tide raises all ships. But this is just a guess.

Just nuts. And they won't go broke if you and me and every other tax payer is backing them. Just makes you want to play a little with them.
I was checking some back 3 years on some builders and a etf, IBD. Many were more then double what they are selling for now.
correction etf ITB not IBD.
