big soccer fan, but I don't follow the MLS because of coverage and Atlanta doesn't have a team. It makes absolutely zero sense that we don't have one, but oh well. The Georgia (especially Atlanta) youth soccer programs are some of teh best in the country. We get the Atlanta Beat with the WUSA, but we can't get an MLS team. We have a independent minor league team hear, the Atlanta Silverbacks, who are able to charge $20 a ticket.

I'm glad Adu is staying here. He will be able to develop and excel here where he would be riding pine overseas. He's just not big enough to hold his mark in Premiership or the Spanish league....YET!

I agree about the US bringing home the cup within the next three WCs. Not that it is guaranteed to happen, but we will be getting very close by then. I don't think people realize how close we were this last go around. Germany slipped past us with one questionable call and UNBELIEVABLE play in goal. We'll keep improving!
