I don't think that Garner is giving up on this game by using Munro.He isn't pitching Clemens thinking that the Astros are hitting well enough to back Munro (who will probably give up a couple of runs in 4-5 innings pitched before he's pulled). The thought here is that the Astro's can pull this game out and have Clemens to open the series. Baseball has lots of big winning and losing steaks and Garner feels that the momentum from winning the last three straight will be a big plus. I'm taking the Astro's at a nice +220 for a small bet to close out the Cards.
