The first overall pick of last spring?s entry draft, Manning takes over from a struggling Kurt Warner, who was sacked a whopping 13 times in the past two weeks in loses to Arizona and Chicago. The Falcons are second in the league with 28 sacks. Even with the expected strong rush, Manning will test his arm against Falcons, as Atlanta has the worst pass defence in the league at 247.8 per game. Atlanta should push the New York run D, as the Falcons boast the NFL?s 3rd best rushing attack, averaging 155.8 yards per contest.
New York is coming off a 17-14 loss to the Cardinals in Arizona, while the Falcons beat Tampa Bay at home 24-14.
