north carolina won the first meeting at Clemson as 5 1/2-point dog....this had to be one of the low points for clemson in a less than stellar year. With that said, I would expect a supreme effort out of clemson tonight. North Carolina shot 31-56 (55%) in the first game.....don't think they can do that again, even at home. Clemson shot 24-63 (38%).....not good. North Carolina also held their own on the boards being outrebounded by only 1....I think clemson uses a little more of their advantage inside tonight. I'll take a chance that this game could be a reverse of the first meeting and take the 4 points. when chit meets chit, either lay off or jump on the points...

note that clemson has lost a mind-numbing 47 straight in chapel hill, not a single win in the history of the matchup. also, there is a long history of bad blood between these schools, starting for the most part with the coaching staffs. i've made a tidy sum this year playing against the tarheels but i think i'll take a pass on this one.

loophole....that is a pretty compelling stat....maybe like you I will lay off...maybe wait to see what the line does....if I do play however, I'm on the +4....clemson could still lose and keep it within the #. This also is probably one of the best opportunities for clemson to scratch at chapel hill...and I'm sure they know it and will give it great effort.

taking the Tarheels may be the right play here. THis is the only stat that the Tarheels can keep alive and I am sure that Doherty will make sure that his boys know it. Clemson has NEVER EVER EVER won in Chapel Hill. So just as Clemson may be embarassed and want to pay the Tarheels back for the beating they gave them at Littlejohn, the Tarheels won't want their last remainging streak to end.
