I would add carpenter is not a semi-automatic out, 199 hits, 55 doubles, .318 BA in regular season.

I don't disagree about carpenters season stats but under .100 so far when it counts most.
I played St Louis in this series but just can't see them winning 3 more with only Beltran and Molina swinging the bat. Pitcher joe kelly had more hits than holiday, kozma, jay, adams, and freese combined.lol.
Can't expect LA will leave that many runners on base every game either.
Just looking for a little help from these guys, thats it.

I believe he is 3 for 21 in the post season this far.
I will give you, that when he makes contact it usually has an impact on the game, however he just doesn't make much contact.
He's good for 2 K's a game.
I hope he turns it around, as well as Jay and Kozma!
