i don't handicap golf but i do know a lot about it and am a 0 handicapper and have played in Jr. tournaments at many places including pinehurst against Woods.....and i see these two guys playing well this weekend.....

am not sure what to think about Howell....he knows the course, and should he play fearless he could give it a run this week....watch his mindset in the media day interviews.....you guys i am sure know the rookie's record in this tourney, but this guy is no average rookie cuz he was made for augusta national much like Tiger was......i would make a top 5 bet for him because i think he will be in the hunt but may get a little nervous coming in on Sunday.....

As a golf course superintendent.......

was a superintendent in Charlotte, NC in 92.....a group from our
course at Pawtuckett Golf Club chartered a bus and took in a
practice round on Tuesday.....if you have never experienced
walking that hallowed ground....DO IT BEFORE YOU DIE.........
it is the most awesome sight you'll EVER experience......I followed
Payne Stewart and Freedy Couples for a couple of holes..........
you couldn't recognize Payne because he wore long pants and
a ball cap.........I couldn't believe how incognito he was.......NO
golf course can compare........and I've also worked at Medinah....
NO comparision...........
