Overall: -280
Spread: 28-32 -660
ML 1-1 +120
Parlay 1-0 +260

Clemson +15 200$:( :( :(
Minnesota -3 100$:)
K-State -3.5 200$
Mizzou -13.5 200$

A couple of notes: FSU just is not that good IMO....I think this one will be a close one -- maybe a two possession win.....I think the spread should be more in the neighborhood of 10 points...

Minnesota: Usually plays well at home....got this at a FG....Illinois has been horrid this year and should be getting 6 or 7 here IMO

K-State....This defense is for real folks.....they will shut down CU....just gotta hope Roberson doesn't screw things up and create opportunities for the Buffalos and this is an easy cover....

Mizzou -- OU may be looking ahead to next weekend...with the hype involved in this game it is impossible NOT to do....Mizzou is a dangerous place to play -- ask Nebraska and CU where both national championship teams should have lost to much inferior than this years' Tigers teams......OU's offense is TERRIBLE going 3 AND OUT time and again against South Florida.....OU has a HORRIBLE offensive line and Hybl is trash.....Mizzou should have a good crowd on hand and this could get ugly in fact IMO.....I am going to play the ML on this one too.....OU's defense is tough but keep in mind, hurricane may be moving up there and almost certanily rain will be falling on Saturday nullifying the OU speed....

Look ahead game: this is the year Texas will beat OU and I think handily....I am an OU fan but the Texas team is exhibiting that "quiet confidence" rather than tooting a bucnh of hype this year.....OU will be looking ahead to this game this week and if they do escape Missouri -- which I think will be close, they will go down at the hands of Texas......A close game at Missouri will move the line in the hands of Texas and I think it may be wise for Texas backers to get this games ASAP before public sees OU playing bad and possibly losing to Missouri......

Again to clarify - I am an OU fan and was able to discern the pathetic hype we heard last year for the Red River and played OU rather big.....this year however, things are different and UT has a much better defense and one more year of experience on offense along with powerful runningback Benson who will be able to take on lightweight linebackers......and most of all -- there is no Roy W. playing for OU this year.....

Doc,

Last Thursday evening, Florida showed the entire sportsbetting public just how terrible they can be. The offense was as bad as the defense, but coach Bowden did look dapper in shades and wide-brimmed fedora.

Clemson is the talk of the ACC.

Why, "Oh, why?" would the linesmaker open this game at -17?

The first 20 posts and next 50 replies I read were "Clemson this and Clemson that".

I'm sorry, but I ain't buyin' Clemson.

This is Florida State we're talking about.

I think last week's embarrassment was a tough pill for Papa B to swallow.

An isolated game on national tv for the second consecutive week.

I think Papa B and the Seminoles make amends.

Big time.

Florida State will put a whipping on Clemson, wont even be close. Noles are still in National Title hunt and they will use this game to showcase themselves. If you take away the miserable field conditions last week and put Cards and Noles on a dry field the game is a rout. I give Cards credit for playing in the conditions and winning.

Missouri will be lucky to break 10 points vs Sooners defense, top defense in the country. I agree with you on Sooners offense it is pretty basic, but I look for the Sooners to win this game by 17-20 points with Mizzou lucky to get more than 7 points.

Mizzou offense will not score many points but their defense may at home....look for Hybl to collapse the team.....OU canNOT run the football either....you need that on the road....i look at this one and wonder how OU will score...bad special teams too....and a HORRIBLE punter

I just do not think FSU is that good....I think Clem has comparable talent.....plus Bowden is getting old and senile....his kid knows that more than anyone.....

FSU further notes:

Plus, a POPULAR public opinion is to say "FSU will be motivated after last weekend -- this after all IS Florida State"......

sometimes you guys on here forget one thing -- that is -- we are ALL the public.....the public is not some idiot who blindly just looks at the last game and picks the best team....we are all the public....every single one of us.....trying to figure out who the public is on is a lot tougher than it looks....

My perspective is that FSU is not that good....i think public thinks it is still......just as i thought that Nebraska is not that good last weekend against Iowa State......granted, FSU is not near that bad, but 15 points is the spread here too....

anyway, that is my pick and my reasoning....

Texas Tech +6.5 300$ :)

Like this one....some bad blood from last year on both sides.....resulted in the corps from A&M getting their swords out....one of the funniest things I have ever seen from these wannabes......

RC's offense just does not have what it takes to beat good teams.....definite homefield advantage for A&M but I like the experience factor here in Kingsbury.....Kingsbury knows hostile environments as he torched the Huskers last year in Lincoln.....A&M not much more hostile than that....

I think this one will be very competitive....last time Tech went to A&M aggs jumped all over them right away....even if that happens in this one, Tech has what it takes to bring it back.....Ags definitely do not......

gonna probably play this one on the ML as well......:)

Hey Freeze

Hey Freeze

Been looking at this one for a while.

What do you think about Tech/A&M Over?

Tech's defense is not that good. Before last weekend, they had allowed:

Ohio St. 45
SMU 14
Miss 28
NC ST. 51.

Now, A&M's offense isn't exactly a juggernaut, but I would take that offense over SMU's any day. I think A&M puts at least 21.

If you think that Kingsbury and co. can put up some points on this defense...especially enough to keep it within a touchdown, they why not play the over?
