early lines i like:
Texas +130
Detroit +190
Texas line should go down by morning.....the BoSox can't even hit a scrub right now while Texas does have trouble with Lowe but could explode on Fossum.....
Sparks has the knuckler working right now.....not a lot of pop in the M's bats right now especially to muscle that knuckler out of Detroit's field.....meanwhile Valdes throws meat and Tigers hitting is better than Seattle's right now......Seattle way overvalued
comments from Astros/Cubs:
both guys rocked.....both teams stranded way too many runners.....Saarloos shoudl get shelled the rest of the year IMO.....however the strike zone was very tight tonight.....Zambrano got frustrated early with zone and was never really in the game.....horribly played game all the way around.....don't know quite what to expect in the next Astros game.....have had good feelings on the last few and have called em right but don't know what to think.....watch the umps....if a wide strike zone I think bang the under -- Hernandez looked okay against Cincy and Prior will almost no hit the Stros if he is normal with a good size strike zone.....Stros have Berkman and Bagwell as threats and the 5-8 hittters are toilet and get pop ups and weak grounders with RISP as consistently as my beloved Royals did in the 90's (but now we have Raul bringing em home lol)
