2 very strong plays:

Premier Division

Longford Town- Derry City 3-1

LONGFORD -120 W

LTF Club calls this game i quote- "this is biggest night in the history of the club. We know that we will have great support for the Cup Final, but in reality this game is bigger and far more important, and a night when all Town fans are asked to come out and get behind Alan Mathews charges, who have given everything in the battle"
Must win situation for LT, and on the other hand meaningless game for Derry.

Shamrock Rovers- Waterford United 0-0

WATERFORD +200 L

Must win for Blues in order to avoid the drop zone.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Press release from Rovers: Shamrock Rovers go into their final Premier Division game with several fitness doubts and a growing list of sidelined players. Striker Tadhg Purcell has joined the long-term injured trio of Aidan Price, Padraig Amond and John Martin, while there are doubts about the fitness of five other squad members. "Tadhg has a groin problem that requires an operation so he won't be back until pre-season 2008," says Hoops' boss, Pat Scully. "And we have several other immediate worries. "Owen Doyle (foot), Andy Myler (ankle), Robbie Creevy (ankle), Ger Rowe (ankle), David Cassidy (hamstring) are all doubtful. Hopefully some of them will be fit enough to play."

Motivation factor for Rovers- Big ZERO.
