0-3, -11 units

Off to a horrible start. One thing I have learned so far is that Arizona doesn't know how to finish a game.

Cal -11.5 1H, 7 units
Cal -22, 5 units

Big expectations for Cal this year, and rightfully so. Montgomery has been a winner wherever he's been. Expect a big start for Cal to start off the season. With Montgomery coming off of cancer surgery, I expect Haas Pavillionto be rocking from start to finish.

Oregon +12.5, 2 units

Big expectations for Vandy this year, with just about every player of note coming back. Although Vandy is a very tough place to play, Altman did a great job in his first year at Oregon after the Kent era. Vandy hasn't been in the spotlight for many years, and this is the biggest target they have ever had on their backs. Double digits just seems like too much here.

Ohio St -14 1H, 1 unit

With Sullinger coming back, Ohio St. remained as one of the top contenders for the national title. Expect a huge start over an outmanned Wright St team.

Michigan St +12, 1 unit

This will be more of a spectacle than anything else. "Neutral" court for sure. I'm not sure when the last time most of these kids played outdoors, but atop an aircraft carrier in cold and windy San Diego and two of the top programs over the last 20 years, I expect Sparty to keep it within double digits.

Miami -8.5 2H, 2 units

Hard not to believe with Miami's backcourt that they don't come out firing on all cylinders. You also have to believe that Larranaga won't inspire them at the half in his first game.
