why are so many games getting postponed? And are they going to be made up?

Frozen ground is the main cause of PP. They are played later, like during cup weeks where many teams are normally off (out). I believe the general UK rules are that the bet stands until the upcoming Monday...(I.E. in case some of those Postponed games get played today or tommorrow).

Well you can fit England in our Lake Superior. So if it gets cold in one small spot, it postpones about 10 games.
