JT------Your 2 Unit Selection scares me a bit----Everyone i talked to, is on Pepperdine and the line has gone up. I'm sure there are people on the other side, but everyone is on Pepperdine.

Hmmm...that's strange. Homer play. I thought this forum was about local guys providing insight into local teams. I've probably provided more info AGAINST local teams through the years than on them. Oh well, I'll gracefully bow out....

btw, sneaks....my post was in reference to another thread. You are a big asset to this forum as far as I'm concerened.

As if JT's 4unit rec isn't enough by itself, IMHO.....

The return of Savovic, their best player, to a Hawaii team who already has 6 players avg 10ppg or more should be the deciding factor. SDSU is 0-3 this yr on the road, and has to travel to Hawaii. Hawaii plays great defense at home. The home win by SDSU over Fresno was really skewed, as Fresno is really CRAP without Ely.

Anyways, GLAll, I'm also throwing 4 bills on Hawaii-5, and 2 on Hawaii-2.5 1st 1/2.

Hopefully my pocket will be fuller when I get up in the morning.

dubs: As I mentioned above, Mr Sneaks is one of a handful of people on this site whose selections have some merit in and of themselves. However, imho, it's not because of his record (which is impressive btw), it's because of the thorough analysis he provides with most of his plays. And because of this, when he doesn't provide any text, I'm confident he's done his homework. This isn't a contest. Invariably, there are going to be times when different cappers are on different sides. Assuming everybody is on the same team here, I was merely providing a dissenting opinion on a game that I felt rather strongly about. Apparantly, I was wasting my time.

Relax, Junior. Don't take it personally when someone goes against you. Congrats on the SDSU win, but I still think Hawaii was the play. Savovic was rusty and tentative in his first game (should have seen that), and the rest of the Bows played a very sloppy game to let SDSU come back and win the game. I was playing Hawaii regardless of whether Sneaks had a 4unit play or not. His recommendation merely made me bump it up a bill or 2. Perhaps you took my post personally, and if that's the case, let me assure you that it was not directed to you at all. Anyways, good luck today.

I visited an old friend in Pacific Beach last month, across the bay from sea world. Beautiful place, too bad that day happened to be the 2nd day all yr that rained in SD
