Season to Date: 10-2-1 +12.8 units
Yesterday: 3-0 +4 units

Miamia +6 2 units. Line seems a little low considering how awful miami has looked on the road its first two games losing by 15 and 23 points. Detroit lost a tough game at home to Indiana to open the season, but I noticed their biggest problem again is that they cannot score inside. They are gonna have a ton of problems putting up points down low. Wallace is a defensive player and not a scoring option really. Wade and Jones should play, and without Riley who I'm sure the players hated they should make a good effort for their home opener. The last 4 games between these teams played in Miami were all decided by exactly 3 points with Miami winning two and Detroit winning 2. Miami isn't great, but Detroit will have problems putting up points all season down low. In what should be a close low scoring affair, I'll take the points and the home team that should put up a better effort than their first two games.

New Jersey/ Minny OVER 182 1 unit. Both teams have players that can score and put up points. New Jersey plays defense, but Minny for the most part doesn't. Classic Eastern Defensive team vs. Run and Gun Western team. Both teams played under in their first outing. New Jersey let a lead disappear and lost on the road to Toronto. They will come out strong and want a win at home. Line is being bet way down which is always good for this play. Looks like Sprewell will play and thats a bonus as well. Last 5 games at NJ between these teams have all gone over this number with 4 of them going well over 200 points.

Boston/Memphis OVER 188 2 units. Both teams love to run up and down the floor. Jason Williams will set the tone early in this one. And Memphis didn't really improve their defense much in the offseason. I can see this game easily getting over 200. Last 3 times in Memphis these teams have played, they have all gone close to 200 points. Boston scored at will against Miami, and Vin Baker looked outstanding. The only thing I would worry about is if Memphis comes out flat being their first game. We will definitely see enough shots attempted to see this game go over, but Memphis needs to shoot well which they should. If Gasol can get some easy baskets, then this game will go over.

Chicago Bulls -2 1st half 1 unit. Okay, all the local hype surrounding them improving this year was too much in the opener. They got embarassd as could possibly be against Washington. 5 madjackers could have given a better effort than they did 2 nights ago. Chandler is gonna play and his back should be feeling better now. No Alan Henderson for Atlanta should open things up in the lane a little more, and Chandler and co. should be able to get some open looks. Whether or not they win the game, they have to come out with a better effort than they did the other day. These guys are young and DO NOT want to be embarrassed from the get go. They will put up a strong effort from the start and hopefully get some easy baskets down low.

I have a lean for the night game but want to make sure on the status of Iverson.....

Good Luck To All

Not a great start to night. Bulls cover 1h barely after being up 16, minnesota didnt show up, might still hit memphis over, gonna be close.

Adding:

Sacramento/ Philly UNDER 96 1h 2 units. Philly isn't stupid enough to try and run with Sacremento. They gonna play defense and try and keep Sacremento from pushing the ball. They know if they try and run they will be down 20 in the blink of an eye. I look for philly to try and play lots of half court sets. I don't care that Iverson is playing. He might score 40, but hes also gonna throw up 20 misses.

Good Luck to All
