Pitts -3.5 over lil Dukies ***
Pitt lost a tough game to Iowa the other nite...Capel new coach has his work cut out for him...but freshman pt gd Xavier Johnson has been a big surprise..leading scorer,has almost 40 assists and avgs 4 bds a game..Frame is the best player on the team at the wing...Ellison the Johnnies transfer is playing good...they don't have a top front court so think once conf starts that could be a problem...they have Chuck and Brown at 6'9 and 6'10 but they are not offensive threats...Dukies have 6'6 Williams who is avg 15 pts and 8 bds..they have balanced scoring with their other 4 starters..they best Ill hi by1 and lost to ND by 11 Pitt has a better offense and plays better defense...this game is at a neutral site in Pittsburgh...Pitt has dominated this annual game winning last yr ..think Panthers can win this by +6-10 pts..
USF -1 now -3 **** over Colgate
Colgate is 5-1 but some of those wins were against NJ Tech,Nazaerth, SUNY Binghamton,.....and 2 MAAC teams that are kinds down Siena and Monmouth...they did play the Cuse and lost by 19.. Burns is top scorer avg 16 pts a game and Ivan at 6'10 and Rayman at 6'8. they have the best front court in the Pat conf.....but think these guys have dominated vs small front courts.. USF has Collis a sold gd that avgs 16 pts a game..their pt gd Rideau avg 11 and has 45 assists..Yetna the 6'8 french kid almost avgs a double-double..Lang is a 6'7 fd who can score..USF schedule has been pretty easy too..They struggled with Stetson the other nite,got beat by the Citidel but lost to Georgetown in triple OT..they score more,are quicker and more athletic...they can't shoot Ft's ranking them one of the worst in the country..but think Yetna inside and Collins and Rideau will be to much for the Raiders...USF at home..

Foxes can play defense.. Dunn didn't play Parker almost half the game even though he led in pts,steals,assist in there win over Dartmouth...why..because he wasn't playing defense..the announcers were saying in the past we spent 80 % of our time on offense...now its opposite...might take some time for the Foxes to learn but think Dunn philosophy will be coming...
