Iona -5.5 over Marist ***
Both teams can't rebound...Iona has dominated the Foxes in the past but Iona has never been so bad...its the same profile.. Iona avgs 80 points a game ranking them 46th in the country...but they give up 83 points a game ranking them 349th.. Foxes other then Parker is an avg team.. they avg 66 points a game ranking them on offense 313...but since Dunn from Peters is coaching them there defense has improved...I looked back at Dunn's coaching vs Iona and last year Peter knocked off everybody to play in the Championship MAAC tourney and a chance to go dancing.. they played Iona and lost 65-62...and in the reg season lost by 73-69...so Dunn knows how to stop the Iona offense...but he had 3 and 4 year starters at Peter and this kids were in their system...with his new Foxes not sure if they can play with the intensity that he did in Jersey City...the 2 best players on the court tonite are Crawford and McGill...McGill is a stud..he avgs 15 pts and has 78 assists...Parker is next..Iona has no front line...6 of 7 of there top scorers are gds...if Iona was to play a team with a solid front court they are in trouble... and the Foxes do have size inside but Funk and Lamb like to play 20 feet from the basket...hate going against Dunn because he knows how to stop Iona but think Iona at home with McGill will be to much to handle...my heart says Foxes but think Iona wins and covers at home..Iona on the road is something like 2-7 and ats overall record is bad...but its MAAC conf and Iona always seem to elevate their game... Foxes are still learning...

Tx St 80-62 over LRock...but another incident ..UALR has the most talented player in the conf...Raylon Tucker...he avg 21 pts a game..has to be the Sun conf top scorer...was 5-9 FG,3-6 from the 3 pt,3 steals and 18 pts...and he was frozen out...when he got the ball he scored...was open so many times... I would say there were maybe 10-15 possessions he never touched the ball...he was wide open and when they didn't pass to him he sulked and put his hands on his hips in disgust..Walker the former Knick player had no clue what was going on as the coach... 6'10 Maric in the opening minute got trapped and double teamed...a 5 second violation....Walker yanked him in the 1st minute... he was telling coach no one was moving to get open..and he was right...then later he gets back in and makes a move and they call offensive foul.. Walker takes him out and he goes over to his coach and says " fuck you"..game over .. he played a total of 6 minutes and he is a starter... but if Walker looks at the tape he will see how his team was shutting out Tucker...this kid is amazing..at 6'5 he has ups,is lightning quick and is a great passer...I amazed the few times he got the ball he still passed it...
I took the over at 140.5.. with 4 minutes left its 80-60...need one more pt...no one scored because Tx subbed and UALR were taking 3's from downtown..with 25 seconds left Tucker gets fouled and hits both FT's to go over...I was already taking out my cigar for an easy over...and I'm clinging and begging for 1 lousy pt...I'll take the win though
Freak'in UTSA... at halftime down 45-31...did play them in second half big and they covered...they woke up to late after being down......
Still shooting to many airballs or missed shots..need to get a few rebounds tonite.
