Monmouth has won 3 of 4 and Rider has lost 3 of 4...but Monmouth beat Canisius,Marist and Quinn... Rider lost to Siena,Peter and Iona ...Hawks have the 2 best gd tandem in the MAAC in Hammonds and Salnave.. Monmouth beat Rider in 1st matchup 94-90..think thay 94 pts scored were the season high for the Hawks. Its that Rider defense that can't stop anyone..Hawks are playing for a top seed in the MAAC tourney where Rider is stuck at the 4th seed...so why the hell do I like Rider...it sounds like a broken record but they have the most talent in the conf...they are 3rd in the NCAA in the last 3 years to have 4 starters with over a 1,000 pts....but if you followed me and Rider that stat means nothing if you can't stop anybody... although there offense has 4,000 pts with those guys there defense has given up 6,500 pts.. I made that up but it feels like it...they are at home...and although the Hawks have something more to play for there is no way Rider allows this NJ cousin to come into Lawrenceville New Jersey and win.. Rider ats is bad away and at home.. bad on Friday night games,bad vs non conference games bad on league conference games but not tonite vs there New Jersey cousin.. Rider wins by double digits and even though they are 4th seed will win the MAAC tourney and go dancing...I do have some land in Manhattan I would like to sell..
Siena -5.5 over Marist *****
Saints are tied for 1st place in the MAAC...they won 6 in a row and 9 of last 10..playing Marist last place in the MAAC..who have lost 5 of 6 and just got blown out by Manhattan the other day..there offense is ranked in the 300's and as a team are ranked 350th..when they lose tonite it will be there 20th loss..Saints won there 1st meeting at home 70-57...Pickett is vying for the POY of the conf..he hit 5 tre's the other nite,,,cannot see foxes stopping Pickett and co..

Was at there last game.. UTA won 62-60..
you would think after sitting in row 1 right behind UTA coach I could use the " seeing eye " test to pick this game...without looking I made the line UTA -1...slight fav...UTA coach did a great job on Pearson the Bobcat top scorer even though he ended up with 26 pts...but UTA defense stopped the Bobcats inside game.. the entire front line had 5 pts..reading my notes on this game are amazing
Ogden UTA coach -- looks like Elvis Pressly with his hair do... but did outstanding adjustments... mad a Warren my favorite player.. Warren's beard is thicker and darker then James Harden..Griffin the freshmen has a sweet handle,Narcis shoots like Dick Barnett of the Knicks..Azore is a 6'4 lefty that I think is there best player..soft shot,good handle and can pass and rebound. think these notes are really meaningless except to me...
Gs St -5 over Ga Southern **
Saw both teams in row 2 vs Tex Bobcats ..will spare you all of my notes..except Kane Williams ..6'3 lefty gd for Ga St...wow this kid could play.. Joe Jones 6'9 freshmen with a pony tail and 6'10 Thomas who got a tec and is a head case...Wilson the off gd another lefty nice..Lanier the coach was fired from Siena and was an asst coach at Texas before Ga St job..terrible coach..I forgot Allen a 6'2 scorer had 17 pts 1st half built like a def back...
