Will start keeping my units won/lost record after today.
UTEP -12 3 units
More of a play against Columbia than a play for UTEP. Columbia doesn't shoot the ball well with just 47 ppg on 37% shooting overall. They also have no size as their leading rebounder is a 6-4 forward and UTEP should have a big advantage on the boards. UTEP has played a much tougher schedule and Columbia has lost to Boston by 29, Binghamton by 28, Bucknell by 14, and Lehigh by 16. No reason to think this game will be close being played at UTEP.
Lafayette +1.5 2 units
Colorado is a totally different team away from home scoring just 65 ppg and shooting 40% in 3 road games. Lafayette has some good size up front that can match up with Colorado's best player Harrison. Think Lafayette has better perimeter shooting with Boyd and Johnson as Colorado doesn't have much besides Wilson on the outside and he has struggled so far this year. Like Lafayette to get the win on a neutral court.
Loyola Chicago +14 1 unit
Just think this is too many points for UNCC to be laying. Loyola is better than they have played of late and has a lot of experience back from last year. UNCC doesn't have much size up front with Clemmons out and Loyola should hang with them on the glass. UNCC shoots 27 3's per game which is almost half their shots but Loyola defends the 3 well allowing opponents to shoot just 31% from 3 point range. Think this will be a close game so will take the points.
