Trying to ramp the record up...at first glance the home favs all look pretty solid but I'm confident at least one will lose SU...the question is which one...back later...

SS -- Bryantz was 4-0 last Friday...he seems to have the hot hand...

IMO the best play for tonite is:

Harvard/Brown Over 140 (Pinnacle)

Lots of question marks surrounding these other games like how will Princeton and Penn come back after their OT game on Tuesday night...big lines to cover make me a little nervous on the sides...

In terms of this total: Brown is coming home for the first time in nine games...the Bruins went 2-2 in their first four Ivy games...a great performance given these were all road games and the toughest part of their schedule...their remaining ten Ivy games include 7 at home which gives them the best chance of the anyone to catch Penn.

Neither of these two teams play great D...Brown is too small to stop Harvard's big guys and Harvard doesn't have the talent to stop Brown's guards...look for another big game from Forte...last year he went 6-11 and 8-12 from the field vs Harvard...the only way they stopped him was to foul him as he also shot 17-18 from the line iin the two games...whenever these two get together they seem to score a lot of points...last year it was 100-83 and 91-67 and the years before much of the same...Brown is 5-0 SU and ATS vs Harvard in L5...

SS -- look down a couple of threads you'll see it under IVY PKS

Hawkeye -- the 123.5 is probably about right...Penn has stepped up their D significantly since the start of Ivy play, allowing just 53 ppg in the first five Ivy contests...Columbia only scored 52 at home vs Brown last week so a total of 50 is about what I'd expect from them...Penn may be a little tired from Tuesday and take it a little easy tonite since they have to play again in 24 hours....so I'd guess around 70 for the Quakers...makes it a tough call....

With respect to tonite's double digit lines, here's what someone else posted on another site:
For what it's worth, here are the winning margins in the 16 games played so far among the Seven Dwarfs:

30, 19, 15, 10, 9, 9, 8, 5, 5, 5*, 4, 3, 2, 2, 2, 1
(* indicates overtime)
So more than half the games have been decided by 5 points or less.

And here are the winning margins in Penn's 5 games:

24, 24, 23, 13, 8*

What this says to me, besides the obvious conclusion that Penn just might be a tiny bit better than the rest of the league, is that any game among the other seven is basically a toss-up.

Might make sense to put a little money on those Cornell and Dartmouth MLs...

On the same note of underdogs barking tonite, I like Canisius +8.5 at St. Peters. The line seemed inflated considering Canisius late streak; not sure if any player on Canisius is injured.

with luck,
SS
