Friday NCAA Hoops: Manhattan @ Fairfield

PICK: Fairfield -3

Fairfield is better than their 2-9 record indicates; the Stags played a tough early season with games at #21 UConn, Providence, BC and St. Joes as well as a home game vs #16 Gtown. Fairfield and Manhattan both lost a lot of players to graduation, Fairfield has 3 frosh starters including leading scorer Nero.

Manhattan has played primarily in the cozy confines of their home gym and is 0-2 on the road.

IMO Fairfield is the better team here and should prove it tonite.

FWIW the books gave us one last nite with 75% of the public on Rider; they won't lose two nights in a row so if I were you I would lay off Troy State and Loyola MD...Marist/Canisius could go either way.

Actually upon further reflection my lean would be to Drake -10 but to stay off Loyola MD. 76% of the public is on Loyola but the line has gone from -8.5 to -7.5.:nono:
