Just thinking out loud ? my data/feed shows the Blackhawks opening up for tonight as a -$145 Favorite. The fact we have moved to the current -$117 tells me they (public) are pounding on the Devils not the Blackhawks? New Jersey opened at +$125
And now at even money.

Unless I am missing something ? and my inquiry is truly honest ? I have been mis-reading lines for decades. Please advise. I would offer the public is jumping on board NJ?s ass kicking of the Penguins the other night.

Basically this is the old BILLY BLASTOFF method that says if they move the line this way, they?re begging for money so play the same side as the house. Doesn?t always happen so that?s what makes it so curious.
