48-26-4 after tonight's debacle. Horrible pick on the Thunder. They looked good in the 1st quarter and then horrid rest of the way. Spurs should win this series now IMHO, but not certain they'll win game 6 in OC. Pretty certain they'll win game 7 as home teams have dominated these Conference Finals to the record now of 9-1 ATS including 7 straight home covers. It's kind of crazy when you consider how good the road teams were ATS the first couple rounds. Anyway, let's looks at tomorrow night.

Pacers @ Heat - Game 6 in Miami and line opened at 6.5 and is now 7.5 and probably will continue grow is my guess, but I can't see it going beyond 8 so will wager now. Lebron got hosed in game 5 obviously and should get some home cooking calls in game 6. One thing I would bet my life is Lebron doesn't have 5 fouls in 13 minutes. Allen is healthy apparently and Heat would have probably won game 5 if Lebron just finished instead of passing to Bosh for the trey. Anyway, I have to believe the Pacers come ready to play despite the fact other than George, they can look horrid at times, especially Hibbert (has there ever been a guy so big and so worthless at times, he's not even in Colorado or Washington smoking the chronic for an excuse). If Pacers can somehow win, this sets up a game 7 that will have huge ratings and be almost a toss up, but obviously Heat likely favored. Now, I wouldn't want to bet on the Pacers winning SU, but keeping it close is possible and I think probable. Heat depend so much on the trey with Allen, Lewis, Chalmers, Cole, Battier, Bosh, etc and if it's not hitting, they can be beaten even at home by many teams. Dogs have been smoked this Conference Finals and can't see it continuing as this is a square bettors paradise, but who knows, this is crazy how much the chalk has covered. Anyway, I'm going Pacers +8 (-120) to cover and playing now in case the number decreases which it probably doesn't. and I am bitching tomorrow. However, I am confident Pacers have at least a 70% chance at covering 8 points. Can they lose by double digits, of course and already have twice. However, I like them to compete knowing a game 7 in their home building is truly a toss up and they can knock off the 3 time defending Eastern Conference Champs.

Pacers +8 (-120) for 10* - 6-4 record in conference finals for me and can a real Underdog ever cover? Chalk at closing lines is 9-1 ATS and 8-2 ATS depending on when you grabbed Heat in game 5. This has been a huge turnaround from first couple rounds and glad I have taken some chalk to be above .500 as I typically back at least 70% dogs in almost every sport and should have backed the Spurs tonight (debated and feel dumb now), but thought too much. Heat are tremendous at winning after losing a playoff game in recent years as I recall 11-0 SU (not sure ATS, but sure it's awesome), but think the Heat can win and not cover tomorrow night. Well, I'm hoping anyway this is the case as I don't necessarily believe Pacers win, but think this game is reffed fair and close. Would love for Pacers win, but afraid they're happy after winning game 5, but they should compete. Anyway, if George can carry that momentum forward and a couple other guys step up like West, Hill, Hibbert (Doubtful), or Stephenson, we could see a game 7 which the NBA desires big time!

Heat 93 Pacers 89 is my best guess, but hopefully Pacers 93-92... wouldn't touch the total. If I had to play it, take the Over as number is fairly low.

I like the pick. If the Pacers can stay in the game thru the first 2.5 qtrs. then they'll have a real chance. LJ being in foul trouble caused some Heat players to play more minute than they're use to. Add to it that they've finally been playing every other night and I think you'll have some tired legs in the 4th. I may be wrong but this is the most Wade has played without rest for the whole season.
