2 late games - some thoughts...
2 teams which were bad last year - the Isles and Hawks - are on the road. Both have had good starts to the season. Both have great home records, but have struggled somewhat on the road.
Edmonton beat the Hawks 1-0 earlier this year, and have a statistical edge in special teams and goal.
The AVS have played 20 games and scored 1 or 0 goals in 10 of them, scoring only 6 goals in the last 5 games, which is almost unbelievable, but helps explains their
8-10-1-0 record. Isles have a statistiacl edge in special teams, but ROY is tough at home. And Isles are BB tomorrow at Phoenix.
Plays:
1. Isles/Avs over 4.5 - AVS have to break out of this slump sometime, dont they??? 6 goals in 5 games...???
2. Aves -.5 [-115] -
3. Edmonton -.5 [-140] vs. Blackhawks...
Going against the 2 teams which have played well to date this year, and may be a bit over-rated...
we shall see what we shall see...
Lean to the UNDER for the OILERS/HAWKS, perhaps a replay of game #1 in October...
