last night Ark St played 1st place Texas St who are now 11-1 at home. They beat Ark St 84-67 in a brawl. Without a doubt Ark St was the bully and did nothing but mug and physically mauled the Bobcats. I hate using the word " thugs" but that was their game plan. I don't know enough about Ark St to say they do that vs everybody or was it there game plan last night. The refs had no control of the game and I would say at least 7 or 8 times Bobcat players were knocked on the floor in rebounding,screens and shoves and pushes. To the Tex St credit they played composed and just played their outstanding defense. Ark St coach and his team were out of control but it was a " White Out". everyone except me cheering for the Bobcats wore white. Tex st had the baseball and softball team football team, cheerleaders dance team and curling team wear white They turned off the lights during introduction and everyone turned on their cell phone flashlights The band was loud and Strahen Gym was rocking . It was a huge home court advantage last night. Texas at the Ft line was 29-31 and I swear everyone Ft was a swish. I don;t even remember them missing 2 FT's I lost the under like a fool but the -5 was never in question . Ark St never took a shot from 10 feet out ,everything was inside and they have no post players. In the 2nd half down by 20 they took a few shots outside. Omier was the best player on the court and he plays for Ark But he didn't get the ball enough . Harrell the 5'8 pt gd was getting pushed shoved knocked on the ground yet he scored 20 points . Tx D caused 21 turn overs and Ark St was never a threat. I couldn't sit next to the visiting teams and parents section There was the baseball or football players all there wearing there white t=shirt. I was wearing my North Texas green hoodie and Army Black nites baseball cap I'm to old for a White out..
