Have tons of info on this game.Trends,stats,etc,etc.This game will come down to who can stop each others gds.Marq. has won the past 3 games stopping Logan and stokes.They have shot a combined 13-50 from the arc[26%] Marq plays great defense just as Cincy does.Marq has won the battle of the bds.But playing at the Shoe,SRO crowd,on national TV,all wearing Red will be enough for Huggy to get a win.But not by over 10 pts.Wade and henry don't rattle.Crean has these kids so well coached.I think many are expecting a big blowout,revenge game,etc.I see a close game going right down to the wire.
Yale +4.5 over Princeton
Yale is 7-0 ats away.Already beat them by 10 at home.Jones has done one of the best coaching jobs in the nation.Tigers have no one to match up with Vitilli.He will dominate the bds with TJ and score.Draughan is a 6'5 super frosh gd that can score and play D.
Tigers have Bechtold who can score inside and outside.But he was held to a few pts in their 1st meeting.
Yale leads Ivy in rebounding,reb margin and scoring.Tiger record at home is unreal.In last 5 yrs 51-7 but 28-17 ats.So don't just look at a home record wins and losses.
Tigers will probaly win this but not under the 4.5.But Yale could possibly get a sweep for the 1st time since Lincoln was Pres.
Iona +10.5 over manhattan
Jaspers at home are 13-1 but only 6-6 ats.Iona lost Fields their top scorer and rebounder.But they have won 3 in a row.This team has a terrible B-ball IQ.Only one shooter from 15 out in woffard.But Tyree wilson a pre-season POY canidate in the MAAC has done nothing for Ruland.he avg's 10 or 11 a game.But he scored 22 vs Niagara 2 nites ago so maybe he woke up.maybe Ruland is trying to get them ready for the tourney next week.
Jaspers are loaded with talent but haven't played well in a month.two nites ago they play Loy-Md as a 22 pt favorite and won by 11 but struggled the whole game.Gaels are more athletic then Loy and think they keep this one close.
Plus my daughter will be at the game tonite.She is visiting the Iona campus this week and half the baseball team from Iona went to her HS.
